I found one northbridge cooler on the site, though it doesn't look like what ive got (cos its fanless) the connectors look the same so its probably the right kinda thing... btw, i got the fan on my northbridge cooler working but it needed encouraging... so presumably its not working at its best. Still getting general high temperatures for the cpu and motherboard atm, i'll invest in another case fan but i doubt if that'll actually bring the general temp down.

Fanless is fine - I have a fanless northbridge cooler - make sure you have compound (this usually comes with the cooler).

The heatsink should come with fitting instructions. What is your exact motherboard make and model?
