They do say that faulty power supplies cause up to 70% of all computer related problems. (had some instructor tell me that years ago).

In this case it sounds more like a corrupt windows, we wait and see what JMax comes back with and we can always look into that option.

ok guys! i'm back. My shift ended early i guess. Thank God. Now we can work on this.

Zimbo I've manage to get a log from HIJACKTHIS! Amaziling! I really hope it can be saved now.

I forgot to add in, my system restore is not working either.

This whole entire problem started from a little glitch with WINDOWS TASK MANAGER.

What happened was, i keyed in ctrl+alt+delete, then i notice i could'nt see the top blue highlighted words 'WINDOWS TASK MANAGER'. That coloum was all highlighted in white basically. So i guess it needed a scandisk run. I restarted it and it ran scandisk. The next thing happened while i was backed in desktop. I tried again and this time WINDOWS TASK MANAGER just auto shuts itself. And then the same weird problems started happening to the other programs.

Below's the attached .txt doc of my log.
I have no idea abt hijackthis seems abit risky to play around with it.
Check it out guys.

Ps. ( the last run on spybot i did was clean. but now i'm not able to run any spy, adware, antiviruz, it all just autoshuts.)

I'd hate to say this but the log looks extremely clean.

Right lets try and rule out viruses, do you have any anti-virus software installed ?

If not then try to download AVG antivirus, below is a direct link to the file.
AVG Antivirus

Once downloaded try run a scan on your system, if it freezes up then try boot into safe mode and run it from there.

If that fails then I think we could try backing up your harddrive and reloading windows, I will start working on a little step by step document for you.(just in case)

Well i've got norton antivirus & norton internet security 2003.

I think i'm gonna need to get the 2005 edition next time.. But i hear norton's really not that good.

Like i said it'll just disappear & i'll be thrown back to the desktop. I installed avg. It's seems to have run fine for 5 mins and poof! it vanish. It did found something !

Trojan horse, 'Dropper.Delf.3.Be'. I deleted the files that was infected. I don't see what else i can do other then that. It seems.. i gotta get down to the last method i guess. I'll be looking forward for your guide. I'm off to work now. Will be back tomorrow around the same time.

I have been googling this thing, with no luck about what it actually is. I have tried F-Secure and Norton's virus databases with no luck.
