I have an HP Photosmart C6150 All-in-One.
it has an ethernet port on the back, as well as USB. I usually have it connected directly to my computer via the USB port. I know its possible to set up the printer to print through the network with the Ethernet connection. (I am having trouble with this however) Does anyone know if its possible to have the scanner function through the network as well? The scanner has a "send to computer" option, but whenever I try it (even when connected via USB) it doesn't work.

I have my computers using the one printer, however I have nevered tried to scan with it. If you want to set up your printer properly you can search for "how to add a network printer for Windows XP" A few good tutorials come up.. same for vista.
