but if it did go south, what would you suggest to replace it?
i dont have much on this computer. i recently cleaned it out...but i wanna improve memory and performance, storage..etc..
so i want the quality you know.

Clearly you don't want to go with more than you need, that's just a waste of money.

System performance is best upped by upgrading your memory, processor helps too but I wouldn't worry about that in your case, also, if you have a 5400rpm drive (which you do) replacing it with a 7200rpm drive will also help but memory is the biggest upgrade...
