Default Printer question

I am sorry but I couldn't find a more suitable place to ask this in. Anyway, I am currently using the EPSON C63 printer and my blue red and yellow ink has ran out but my black ink is still half full. The system will not allow me to print black and white documents which obviously do not need the colours that I ran out. So is there anyway to allow black and white printing? Thanks in advance.

Hi Zidane,

Have you tried going into Printing Prefrences and selecting "Black and White Printing" (or something similar)?

If not, you can get into this by clicking Start > Control Panel > Printers and Other Hardware (in category view) > View Installed Printers or Fax Printers > Right clicking on your printer and select printing prefrences. There should be an option about this on one of the tabs in there. Since I don't have access to the printer right now, I can't tell you exactly where it would be.

Hope this helps!

I have already selected the BLACK INK ONLY function but it stills doesn't allow me to print in black and white. It still prompts me to replace my dry yellow red and blue catridges. What else can I do.
