Yes I think that's correct, as I said I think this is just the part where the lock was stored and not the actual data :-S

Yes if I recall correctly because I'm guessing that's where the password software came from. Also, that link you sent me only seems to be for folders and files where I have no folders to take ownership of... When I open the drive it's just empty (missing the lock icon that used to be there)

You need to redownload the software and setup exactly as you did before.

Or can you locate the actual software progeam?

Click start all programs?

Locate the software and see if you can manualy open the drive.

I think the software is built into the stick and installs itself the first time you connect it to a computer. Problem is when I uninstall the drivers, its still reinstalling itself with a blank window and no lock feature.

Ok,lets wait a little while for Tech Team to see if they can help you with this issue.

They may come up with a fix for you.

Ok I have one thing you could try while you wait.Do a system restore on your computer to just before you deleted the lock symbol,that hopefully should bring it back.
