hello,

this is my first post in this forum and i realy hope that someone will be able to help me.

i recently purchased the micrsoft entertainmaint desktop 7000, and i now wish to reprogram several of the MCE keys, paritculary the MCE "green" button, as i do not use MCE.

the bundle software that came with the keybaord, does not let edit the functions of these keys, so i was wondering if anyone knew of a way that i could do it another way, possibly through regedit or something?

You can try this program to remap your keys.

KeyExtender - Customize keyboard layout, change keyboard shortcuts, replace keyboard key. - convert keyboard, change keyboard shortcuts, change keyboard layout, change keyboard mapping, change keyboard keys, replace key on keyboard, key exchange, key
