Default Portable Web-Browsing Device?

Hey guys!

I wasn't sure whether to put this in Mobile Phones, but I figured it fit better here since there isn't a PDA, etc. section.

I know of the Zipit, the portable IM device, and that's really cool. I plan to get it. But I was hoping that there might be a similar device (hopefully some sort of small, clamshell-folding device) that could connect to WiFi and act as a web browser only. I'm trying not to be too picky because I've never really looked into such a thing, but I was hoping for at least an 800x600 screen, flash and java compatible, and speakers. I just want something that will let me browse the internet, probably browsing YouTube, some forums, Newegg, eBay, Gmail, and Barnes and Noble, while in my room relaxing instead of sitting at the computer desk downstairs.

All that would really be needed to do this is a portable browser with flash, java, audio, and a reasonable resolution. I'm not looking for something to replace my computer, just something to use in my room that provides a comfortable browsing experience. Something along the lines of the PSP's browser, but with a keyboard and more efficient controls.

I may have ended up a bit specific, but if any of you know of such a device or similar, let me know!

Thanks all,
Rodents210

Asus Eee PC ?
Under $350
Solid-state-- if you doze off and drop it no problem.
I would go for the full Gig version-- if you want XP on it.

That looks really interesting. I have a job this summer; it may be worth it more to go for the Eee PC than for the iPhone I was hoping to save for. And with 1GB of RAM and little to no bloatware from what I can see, it'll probably perform better than my full-size laptop when it comes to doing the basics.

I think you may have tied me in. From the looks of the pictures, the Linux it comes with looks more than tolerable, so I probably wouldn't bother with going for XP.
