Default locked mouse/keyboard
When I inserted a USB connection both my mouse and keyboard locked up.Both the keyboard and mose are fine.I have rebooted several times ..Dell Deminsion 9200.. o/s XP home.Thanks in advance

Thanks for the welcome and quick response joeyfine.
I was connecting my sky caddie gps system to my pc (i've done this many times before) to download some coursce information.

USB for both...i have tried all my usb ports (8) same result...also no lites on keyboard...fuse? problem?

I switched out the keyboard and mouse, both Dell ,that came with the Dell deminsion to the pc i'm currently useing (older/slower) to connect for help and email purposes..both keyboard and mouse are functional on this,the old pc.
