May i know, for an internal card reader how long has it been circulated on the market? Then what are the difference between an external card reader, finally is there like a guide or walk-through on how to install an internal card reader for a novice? Greatly appreciate the help thank you.

Ok I have an external card reader wich is connected via USB connection.

I have an internal card reader wich is plug n play.It is connected via a front USB on mainboard.When you look at the mainboard it may have 1 or 2 front USB connections myne has 2.One is used for front USB and one for my internal card reader.

I think you can get internal card readers to fit either a floppy drive bay or a CD/DVD bay.They vairy on how many diffrent slots they have for diffrent type cards.My floppy bay sized one has 4 slots.A CD/DVD drive bay one has more slots.
