Default keyboard issue
on my other computer, i have windows vista and my keyboard has always worked but suddenly today it no longer types but instead every key is a shortcut and if you click on it, it opens somehting, for example:
r - run
f - search
u - control panel
m - closes all windows
3 - internet
1 - hides everything on screen
any idea how to fix this? i need to be able to type again!

Hi and welcome to PCHF

Sounds to me like the windows button on the keyboard is stuck down, try tapping it to see if it frees itself up, possibly something stuck under the key

Hi welcome to PCHF mmmm.....StickyKeys? try tap the shift key 5 times and turn StickyKeys off
