Default [Resolved] hp 5219urf wireless keyboard problem

Hi There

I have a problem with my hp 5219urf wireless keyboard - since changing PC (running XP), the keyboard works but the @ and £ characters come up with something different when you press them. I have checked that the keyboard is set up as UK and that the currency is £ etc. but can't seem to resolve it. Can anyone help please?

Hey nessie, you definately have your keyboard setup as US instead of UK, can I confirm that when you press @ you get a ", and when you press " you get a @?

- If so, go back to Control Panel, followed by Regional Settings. Change to "English (United Kingdom)" at the top, and "United Kingdom" at the bottom.
- Then click on the Languages tab, followed by Details. Make sure that English (United Kingdom) is selected at the top, and appears at the top of the list at the bottom, and then click OK.
- Finally, in the Advanced tab, select English (United Kingdom) in there too.
