Hi all!
I use a webcam "Creative Live! optia" and one day I remove it from a usb port to an other. After this I got malfunction warn in every guide I made.
I try with cd driver on "Device manager->Update driver(Unknow device)" but nothing dont know driver cd. I see on driver list there is a "Unknown device" driver and always force me to select this driver (during update driver).
I see alot of guide about "Usb device not recognized" but none help me and I decide to open a topic here... may be I'm lucky
Any Help??

Try this?Update all USB devices listed in device manager.
Reinstall the webcam using the disk.

Or download drivers here:Creative | United Kingdom | Customer Support: Downloads

Use the choices your cam is listed there and download new drivers.

Yes I try it but same problem. During install new driver this software notice to connect the webcam on usb port (and I connect) but doesnt reckon webcam. even connect webcam show "USB device not recognized".

Can you try this webcam in another computer or a friends?

No I have not.
But when I connect to pc detect it and during install new hardware when windows prompt "Windows logo testing verify" show:
...you are installing....:
Unknow Device (this is driver name)
