D-Link USB

A lttle more RAM would speed her up.If you have operating system disk then a fresh install would make sure she was clean and get all your updates will help her run smoothly.

Hi janey they are not that much but shop around for a good price.Around £50 a little less if you check a few shops.

Ok how to fit say D-Link.When you put CD in that came with it it will show you were to plug things into.
Turn the wireless router around and look at the back of it.On the right usaly is the power supply.Next to power supply you plug in eiethernet cable to this first port then that cable goes into the modem supplied by your ISP.
The next port on the wireless router you plug another eithernet cable into it and this cable then goes into the back of the main computer.

There are then ports numbered 1-4 these are for any other cable connect computers.

Power on modem and router and computer.Logon on to the computer put in disk that came with the wireless router and follow the instructions.

You may need your IP adress, gate way adress etc from your ISP.

Or just choose static IP adress then click next choose a name for your network and then encrypt/password it so only your house hold can connect to this router.
Run networksetup wizard on each machine.

Janey is your main computer eithernet connection to modem and router you have now?
If it is then some thing like this should do you:D-Link United Kingdom

Janey if you experience any problems we have a quicker help option use the chatroom.

I hope this helps you and let me know how things go?

PS:Ignore zinglebarb he is a male,we women are better at explaining things to eachother.
