Can anybody tell me the quickest way to determine what level of USB ports I have from 1.1 upwards??

Check your computer specs via the manufacturer see if it supports USB 2.0,then you would have to enable this in BIOS.

Are you saying there are no tools available to determine what type of USB's are installed?

Ok whats the make and model of your PC then I will go to manufacturers website and check on this.
I do know of online scanners to check this but only for Dell/HP/Compaq.
Maybe one of the other techs may know of some thing.

Do the letters after Belarc Advisor's description of the USB ports mean anything relevant in this context??
