Default Labtec wireless keyboard and mouse troubles

Hey guys, Sorry to bother you but this thing is now driving me crazy. For christmas my nan got a 'Labtec wireless desktop plus' keyboard and mouse, And after setting it up everything was fine. Then for apparently no reason at all the mouse stopped working. She's had troubles with the mouse when she first set it up but for some reason it started working again. Now it just wont move, my uncle has tried it on his PC and the mouse and keyboard work fine. So i'm baffled by it, I've made sure it's all installed properly and i'm pretty sure the batteries are working fine. So can someone give me a hand? Thanks very much

Howdy Rowanna and Welcome to PCHF,

First off you are not bothering us, this is what we love to do..

Just to make sure I would check the batteries again..
Did you try moving the receiver around to see if it picks up the mouse? As this may be your problem.
Another thing you can do (if you installed drivers) is uninstall then and reinstall them. Or if you have xp you should not need them..

Hey, Thanks for the suggestions, Well.. I tried the mouse on my uncles and it works, So can't be the batteries We'll the reciever does indeed pick up the mouse, as when you move the mouse the lights flash.. So i'm guessing it's something to do with the pc recognizing it from the reciever, But i have no idea.. And i'm indeed running XP, But i have uninstalled and reinstalled and no luck Thank you very much though
