Hey all,
I'm having issues with my new (old) printer I bought off ebay, I figured it might have an issue cuz of it's age and it's data page says it's printed over 100k pages since it's last service (which was probably never) but my problem is that it always displays paper jam errors, either in the rear door or the paper tray, why is this and how can I fix it?

Hi If you open the back panel of the printer you will see rollers there try cleaning them with metho. If you look around the side if the the rear panel near the rollers is the a rubber drive belt there with teeth on it that can stretch and cause this type of problem also clean the pickup roller and seperation pad in the paper tray.

Metho? What's that? As for all the parts you mentioned, I haven't the faintest clue what you're talking about but I'm sure I'll know it when I see it

You can use Methylated spirits or 100% Alcohol on a lint free cloth or clean cotton cloth clean the rubber roller in under the paper tray best to remove the tray and on the tray you will see a rubber pad clean that to. Then go the the back pannel and clean all the rollers there as well.
