Default Cordless Mouse Setup

HI,

I'm trying to a new cordless mouse. I'm running Vista Ultimate. Accoring to the instructions, when I insert the receiver into the USB port, the Add Hardware Wizard should start, but nothing happens. When I select Add Hardware from the Control Panel, it tells me that another device is being installed and to wait.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Try unplugging the mouse completely - then install the software for the mouse. Reboot and insert the mouse.
