I bought a Graphics tablet with my new computer (running Vista) and I cannot get it to work. I have tried installing it a trillion times, and it is functioning (light turns green when pen gets close etc) but the cursor on the screen doesn't move from it, and the tablet portion of the control panel says no USB tablet found. i had it working just fine on my old XP running computer, and I wonder if perhaps the driver that came with it is too old? The instructions don't talk about vista at all, but Dell shouldn't have sold me something incompatable. (yes yes, i know, i know... dell eh? but it wasn't my choice haha) I am really lost and REALLY need this tablet for a huge bio assignment with diagrams... any help would be loved! Any more information I can give that would help, please ask. thanks!

I have a friend at college who has the exact same tablet, and he has it working on Vista.
Install the driver found here http://www.acecad.com.tw/driver/u340-en.zip
That should work for you, that is the one my friend uses.

Ahh, unfortunately this did not make a difference. It is like the tablet is 100% functional except that the computer won't respond to it... do you suppose there is some setting I might have to change to allow the mouse to be taken over or something? Hrrrmm...

Took it into Dell today and they kindly informed me it wasn't compatible with Vista. Umm, so why sell it to me with a brand new comp? Anyway, they gave me my money back but I get to keep it for use with my old XP-running machine. So a free tablet... yippee! Does anyone have any suggestions of a good tablet to get for my NEW computer? It needs to be fairly cheap as my refund was only about 70 bucks and it's the holiday season so I don't want to pay TOO much more than that.

I thought it was compatible with Vista, my friend must be using a different model then.

Unfortunatly for you, Newegg doesn't ship to Canada so i'd advise you to look in that list for a tablet you would like to purchase. Write down the model details, and contact somewhere in Canada to see if they stock it.

On Newegg, to quickly search by price range on the left of the web page there's a filter search where you can click on what price range you want.
