Hi,

i've got a Sony Vaio VGC-LA3 desktop. I came with Vista, i downgraded to XP Pro. I could manage to install all the drivers except "eHome Infrared Transceiver". I cannot find any information about it. It is maybe a remote controller's missing driver??? The remote's model is RM-MCE20E. Anyway if somebody could give me any help how to make it work it would be highly appreciated. The other thing is the Sony MPEG RR-Engine. I found the components of the driver the sonytvc,inf sonytvc.sys and another 3 files. For some strange reason i can't install it. I've tried everything, seriously everthing. I'm desperate for some help! Somebody please!

Hey there and welcome to PCHF,

Right now my brain is a bit frazzled but I would suggest you contact Sony/look on their website as they know the most about their products.
