I'm having a bit of trouble with my keyboard. I recently got a new one that was wireless, and it came with a wireless mouse, it's a logitech set. and they both worked fine for about 2 weeks. When i restarted my computer today the keyboard and mouse didn't work. Then when I unplugged them and restarted and everything, the mouse would work, but the keyboard would not enter anything. I restarted again and with the keyboard was able to get into the system setup. then when i exited that and it went through the whole startup process, i got to the logon screen the keyboard wouldn't enter anything. Each time the mouse would work, but then as soon as i hit a button on my keyboard the mouse would cease to work. I tried my old keyboard and mouse, and now there's the same problem with the old keyboard. When the computer is initially started the keyboard works, and i can get into the setup, but when everything has started up and i get to the logon screen the keyboard doesn't respond. Unlike with the wireless set, the mouse continues to work even after i've tried to enter stuff with the keyboard. I've tried using both the PS/2 ports and USB and it doesn't make a difference. The keyboard lights up and has power. I can't get into my desktop because I can't enter my password. Can anyone help me?

Did you change the batteries? Also press the F-Lock on your keyboard at bootup

Well for the wireless the batteries are new, but yes, i changed them, but the wired keyboard doesn't work either. and I'm not sure what an F-Lock is.

Have you tired plugging it into a different usb prot? Could be a bad one.
