Default How to tell exp. slots apart

Hello I am new to this site and to computing. I have a Dell E510 computer, I want to install a new video card . But I do not know witch on to buy. I don't know what type of exp. slot I have. I can not open it up and look at the slots because I am on vacation in Tx. And the computer is in Ca.. I ran on to a place that is haveing a great sale on cards but the kid working there dose not know anything about computers. ( told me dad is home sick and he had to run the store for a few days )
Can anyone help me?
Thank you for reading this:

Hi and welcome to PCHF!

Well, if you are new to computers; I would recommend posting the cards you are looking at and the price so one of us can take a look at it.

You would need a card that is a PCI-E (PCI-Express) and it can be up to x16.

Hope this helps,
Adam
