Unhappy Keyboard beeps- Gonna throw it at wall....

Hi I have this problem with my keyboard, PC boots up fine ( win xp), but after a few mins of use my keyboard (samsung sdr4000 remote) becomes unresponsive, and I get a pc ( not soundcard) Beep, just when I press the unresponsive keyboard. It only started last week, I have had the keyboard about 12 month no probs. I don't think it is anything to do with the accessability thing. Can you help.

Many thanks in advance

have you checked your keyboard driver to see if it is showing. if you go to the device manager and find your keyboard, if it has an a yellow explanation mark beside something is wrong with it, you can try do a repair right from there, also have you unplugged, shut down and plugged it back in, it could be as simple as that. From the device manager you can also make sure you driver is upto date. I would also suggest plugging another one in to rule out keyboard malfunction. I personally have had a keyboard die but it does happen. Good luck, let me know how it goes.

Thanks Ribs, yeah this is another thing ( that I should have mentioned).
It does show in the device manager with no problems, then on the next boot it's gone. seems to be random. I haven't tried another keyboard, as it works for 5-10 mins before becoming non responsive and then it just beeps when I press a key.
It's not that I'm pressing too many, it happens on single keystrokes..
Thanks for the suggestions fella..

I don't know the problem, but I think throwing it at a wall would fix the beeping... but that would be the only good part.
