Question [Answered] USB device installation

Hi People,

I am running Windows XP, but when i try to install any USB devices which don't come with their own installation CD (the drivers are supposed to be already supported by XP) i get a message saying that 'we cannot find the software' - at the end of the 'found new hardware' wizard. This is particularly annoying for the new Gamepad i just bought (Tust GM-1300), for which there is no drivers available to download either.

any hale here would be much appreciated.

thanks,
Tim.

Do you have any Yellow question marks in Device Manager here.

Try totally un-installing it from device manager, reboot then insert the joypad usb.
Get back to us if that does not work, by the way do you have SP2?
