Unhappy [Fixed] Lexmark X3480 not scanning

Hi Guys

I have just bought a lexmark all in one scanner a x3480, bolt and braces stuff but does what i need. The trouble i am having is it suddenly stopped scanning. All the other functions work fine, printing, copying etc.

I have tried using ifranviewer in case the software that came bundled was no good but it says that there is no scanner attached, i have double checked everything and all cables are fine and i have updated the drivers in case it was them but to no avail.

Can anybody offer me some sort of assistance?

Cheers

Justin.

Hi mifty,

Welcome to PCHF.

Since it's an all in one, you should be able to use the photocopy function on the printer itself, does this work OK?

Also what version of Windows are you using?

Mift,

When you press the copy button on the AIO, does the scanner work?

Also, if you go to My Computer, Control Panel, Scanners and Camera's. Do you see your scanner in this list?

OK, nothing wrong there.

What actually happens when you try to scan, and using which software?
