Sorry if this is a repost. I seem to have lost my original post.


I have a 2 Gb portable flash drive (pen drive) which has been working fine connected to my USB 2.0 ports. However, since yesterday, it will only run for a few seconds before locking up and disappearing from the drives list in My Computer. I have found that if I connect it through my USB 1.0 hub (which is plugged into a USB 2.0 port) it works OK although more slowly.

I am running Windows XP and have tried a system restore with no effect. I have not yet been able to try it on another PC.

Any ideas?
