having trouble loading plug and play controllers. my cyborg stick comes without software. and my racing wheel comes with software. windows xp will not reconize either controller..

hi. my stick is a saitek cyborg graphite. the racing wheel is logitech formula GP the racing wheel comes with software the stick is plug and play it comes with out software. i had geek squad { the name of a computer company} come out to my house. they looked on the internet for a quick fix. {i already done that myself} said they couldn't find a source and charged me 170.00 dollars without fixing my computer. they said they could reformat my hard drive for another 250.00.??? i have windows xp...

I'm a martyr to my saitek cyborg 3D gold. If you go on the saitek website you can download drivers for cyborgs. More than likely though, you'll need to unplug it when you shut down or restart, as it doesn't like it. There's also an issue with cyborgs and USB, which means it can stop working if the PC hibernates or powersaves. There's stuff about that on the saitek forums IIRC.
