Default Lexmark Printer?

Since I haven't seen any topics about printers, I was wondering if it was OK to post a question about my printer? If not, disregard all of this post. I have a Lexmark All-In-One X75. Everything is fine with it, except that no ink is coming out on the paper. It appears to be printing, but nothing appears on the paper. I've gone through the Lexmark website, but they were no help. Anybody had this problem? Anybody know how to fix it?

Thanks!

Hi Jpkube,
Welcome to The site,
OK then apart from running out of ink, the most common problem I've seen from inkjets is that the nozzles get gummed up. If the Clean cycle doesn't work, more drastic action can be needed.
Remove the ink cartridge and see if the nozzles seem dirty.
If there is a lot of gummed up ink (very technical term) you may have to clean it.
Get some isopropyl alchohol (rubbing alchohol, NOT turps, meths etc as they leave deposits which can make the problem worse) put a small amount in a shallow container, old saucer as it might get stained.
Dip the nozzles into the alchohol and VERY GENTLY wipe it with cotton bud.
When it is clean, leave it for about 5 minutes, put it back into the printer and test it.

A word of warning, the "holes" in an inkjet cartridge are smaller than the diameter of a human hair so be very careful when rubbing them. you willl get a litte of the ink leaking when rubbing so don't try to get the head perfectly clean.
Keep us posted

You know beofre you go through all that you may wish to concider checking your cartrage. Most cartrages come with someking of guard/sticker you must remove to release the vacuum on the ink. Sometimes these are removed incorrectly, expecially if rushing. I know its a trivial thing but thougth id mention it.
