:-) OK, I'm back,

Give this a try for me, close out of Word,

Click Start and then click Run.

In the Run dialog box, type Winword.exe /a ?(You must enter that exactly)

Click Open

Then try accessing Speech again. If that doesn't work, you are going to need to repair Microsoft Office, and you will need the cd to do that.

:-P Unless your dad has Word as a stand alone, the repair would be for Microsoft Office, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other programs. You'll need to have the cd in order to repair the install, apparently this is pretty common with Word 2002. You can read about it here

Will keep an eye out for you when you get it. Make sure you have your dad's permission make changes to his computer please, wouldn't want you to get in any trouble :wink:

He's hardly ever on it, it's mainly for me, and my mom and sometimes my sister
