Default [Resolved] power supply the problem?

Is the power supply the problem?
it seem my computer cannnot detect any hard drive or cd drive except the master cd drive.
The thing is, in my computer there is 1 wire who is separated in 3, and go from the power supply, to the 2 hard drives and the cd burner.
And there is one who goes from the power suply to the master cd drive.

Since my computer doesn"t detect anything except my master cd drive, it does seem like the cable from the power suply could be the problem,

What do you guys think? and what could i do to fix it.

It could be a jumper problem or an IDE problem:

Jumper solution:

Make sure that your hard drive is set to master and that the CD-ROM that is running on the same IDE cable is set to slave.

IDE:
Try swapping the IDE cable from the working CD-ROM to the hard drive and see whether it gets detected.

Could you let us know how many devices you have connected (e.g 2 cd-roms; 1 hard drive) and how they are connected. (which device is on which IDE cable)

the hard drive should be set to master, the comp was working just fine before this problem. And everything should be set up properly

yea, il try the ide cable from the working cd-rom to the hard drive and check it out.

i got 2 cd -roms (1 master 1 slave) and 2 hard drives (1 master 1 slave).

I don't think you can replace these cables - you would need to replace your power supply unit to do this.
