Hi Grayel

Could you give us a bit more detail about "jumping back" please....I don't quite understand what this problem is. Also tell us what browser and operating system (Windows version) you have.

Hi.

By "pageing" back I ment it was as if I was clicking on the "back" button on my browser. I would click on a link to a web page. The page would load and after it was loaded to my screen would suddenly page back to the previouse one. Just as often clicking a link would automaticaly send me straight back a page. Sometimes it jumps back serveral pages. (one step forward, two steps back. Hell of a anoying)

BTW it has stopped doing this now and has been fine for the last week.
I am currently using winxp and Mozilla Firefox. I went back to IE to see if the fault was repeated there. It seemed stable. I am back to using Firefox again. Any ideas on what the problem was?

Thanks

Maybe your backspace key was stuck or had some dirt in it?

Hey Guys and Gals,

This thread was left unfinished, however barring the repeat of the problem it is difficult to diagnose. It is quite possible that Magic was right and it was as simple as something stuck in the keyboard.

If you are having similar difficulties, please check your keys to see if they are sticking on you, if that is not the case, please follow the instructions for PreWork in my signature, and post the resulting logs in a new thread under your Operating System forum.

Look forward to seeing you in the forums,

TTFN
