Default [Pending] digital camera help

hi, my cam wont let me take pics anymore! the comp says its not connected or theres a problem etc but it will let me use the cam during convos on msn so i dont really understand why it cant find it normally. ive tried re-installing but has no effect. i used to access the picture taking program through 'my pictures' and then a cam link on the left but that seems to have dissapeared. id be gratefull of any suggestions even if they are just get a new cam :wink:

Could you let us know the make and model of the cam.

I presume it is USB, so the best thing to do is turn the machine on with it disconnected, once in windows check the DEVICE MANAGER and make sure it is not listed in there. If it is then delete it.

Un-install any of the software and then reboot the machine.

Once in windows, connect the cam up and see whether it gets detected, if it does try to access it through Windows Explorer.
