My desktop machine is running vista but not recognising my Lexmark X1180 printer i have been on to the lexmark site and downloaded the correct drivers for vista yet it still doesn't work any ideas would be gratefully recived and tested, thanks Adam.

Does Vista recognise that you have plugged in the USB cable to the printer and then not display the printer in "Printers" or are you not even seeing a USB connection being made?

it recognises it on the USB but i can't see it on the printers section.
