Exclamation [Resolved] Deleting read only files !!!

Hi Guys

i have a sandisc sd card which has some files on that i want to delete, however it won't save the option to change them to archive files nor will it let me format the card as it says the pc doesn't have access to the source files, any ideas how to solve this. I am not worried about anything on the card just want it fresh n clean so any method that will work i am open to.

Cheers

Justin.

Hello Mifty,

This may seem like a silly question, but there's a read only tab on the side of the SD Card. Is it currently set to read only?

Problem sorted, no the tab wasn,t set to read only. I solved the problem by starting up msconfig and starting up with just diagnostic settings, it then let me do the reformat on the card. I guess there must have been a programme tucked away somewhere that was reding the card whilst i was trying to do my thing on it.

Cheers

Justin.
