I'm at the end of my tether here and really need any help you can supply me with.

Every so often I have prompt box advising that Windows had to close b.exe and another one from f.exe.

I have had this before a long time ago and used System Restore to solve it however this time nothing is working:

System Restore is crashing
3 spyware programs shut down themselves and when try to uninstall/reinstall etc i'm advised that I do not have the appropriate authority to perform this action
I could get nothing of the Prework to work and all the programs I tried to run were all shut down themselves
My Internet runs very slow along with my PC

Please help as I'm getting really stressed out about this as I'm no further forward as when I first started looking into this to now.

I believe this started when my fiance used a P2P program which I've now removed.

I appreciate that they are tried and tested however they are not working for me and I have followed the instructions.

For example, with the RootRepeal it starts scanning then shuts itself down. Then when I try to click it again it advises that I may not have persmission to access this file and that Windows cannot access the specified path, device or file.

Each other step in Prework has all started to run and then shut itself down after a couple of seconds.

Your thread is located in the right place to receive help from the PC Security Team. I will let them take over now...please be patient as they are a busy bunch!

Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
When done, DDS will open two (2) logs
DDS.txt
Attach.txt
Save both reports to your desktop.
Copy/Paste the contents of 'DDS.txt' in your next reply.
These other two logs ...
* attach.txt
* ark.txt
... should be zipped/archived before attaching to the reply as well

I did as you said, including disabling script blockers, however the dds screen disappears after a couple of seconds with no log appearing afterwards.
