Default PC acting strange

Hi, I think i might have a virus or spyware or something. im in the process right now of scanning the system with Nod32. The thing is I just did a full system restore 3 months ago because of a suspected virus, but nod32 found nothing, it never finds anything. Now again Im having weird issues such as; my sound/volume icon and the wireless icon have disappeared, windows/tabs lock up.. the buttons on the page just wont respond to clicking on them.. im constantly opening task manager to close them, this just happened to nod32 when i opened it.. task manager.. then the icon disappeared from the system tray. Also constant "Internet connection problem" warnings, very slow connection speed at times. Anyone know what this all could be caused by? Thanks for any advice

End of file - 8958 bytes

It took me awhile to get back here, these are my logs, they are from about 1 week ago, the malware bytes did find one infected file and removed it, i see something is infected in the log. After the scan things were pretty normal up until a few minutes ago, again internet explorer said it had stopped working this time it gave a reason, suspected malicious add-on or adware, why wouldnt ESET Nod32 have picked this up? I was at 2 adult sites a few weeks ago that required an active-X add-on to be installed. Stupid. Also a few days ago i got a message box saying the host process for windows had stopped working. Thanks for help
Chris

P.s i got the internet stopped workig/ malicious adware when i went to this site Ultimate-Guitar.com

Ok.Lets start with this...

Download the program HostsXpert
Unzip HostsXpert.zip
It will create a folder named HostsXpert in whatever folder you extract it to.
Run HostsXpert.exe by double clicking on it.
Click the Make Writeable? button.
Click Restore Microsoft's Hosts File and then click OK.
Click the X to exit the program
Note: If your Hosts file no longer exists, you will get a warning similar to "HOSTS file does not exist, Press OK to create HOSTS file". Please select Ok if that is the case.
If you have added modifications to your hosts file, they will need to be re-added

========================

I will need a more in depth look at your files for malware.Please download ComboFix from any of these links here :

http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
Combofix -> Anti-malware Tools -> Downloads

This will give further insight to any malware files present.
Save it to your Desktop.

**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved and renamed following this process directly to your desktop**

If you are using Firefox, make sure that your download settings are as follows:
Tools->Options->Main tab
Set to "Always ask me where to Save the files".

During the download, rename Combofix to Combo-Fix as follows:

It is important you rename Combofix during the download, but not after.
Please do not rename Combofix to other names, but only to the one indicated.
Close any open browsers.
Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right-click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools. More help on your specific AV here: How To Temporarily Disable Your Anti-virus, Firewall And Anti-malware Programs
Run Combofix and post its log here please.
