Download OTScanit2.exe: http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/OTScanIt2.exe to your Desktop and double-click on it to extract the files. It will create a folder named OTScanit2 on your desktop. OTScanit2 can be detected as malware by your firewall or anti-virus program. Chose Ignore on any warning alert.
Close any open browsers/windows.
Open the OTScanit2 folder and double-click on OTScanit2.exe to start the program.
Leave all settings as they appear as default, except for the following:
Under Drivers, select "All".
Under Rootkit Search, select Yes
Under additional Scan select the following:
Reg - ColumnHandlers, Reg - Desktop Components, Reg - Disabled MS Config Items, Reg - File Associations, Reg - NetSvcs, Reg - Protocol Filters, Reg - Protocol Handlers, Reg - SafeBoot Minimal, Reg - SafeBoot Network, Reg - Session Manager Settings, Reg - Winsock2 Catalogs, File - Lop Check, File - Purity Scan, Files - Signature Check, and Evnt - EventViewer Logs ( Last 10 Errors).
Now click the Run Scan button on the toolbar.
The program will be scanning huge amounts of data so depending on your system it could take a long time to complete. Let it run unhindered until it finishes.
When the scan is complete Notepad will open with the report file loaded in it.
Post the log in your reply (you may attach it if the contents are too long)

To attach a file to your post, you need to be using the main Reply button and not 'Quick Reply'.
On this page, below the message box, you will find a button labelled 'Manage Attachments'. Clicking this button will open a new window for uploading attachments. You can upload an attachment either from your computer or from another URL by using the appropriate box on this page. Alternatively you can click the Attachment Icon to open this page. To upload a file from your computer, click the 'Browse' button and locate the file. To upload a file from another URL, enter the full URL for the file in the second box on this page. Once you have completed one of the boxes, click 'Upload'. Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window. You can then close the window to return to the new post screen. |

It's a little Paper clip icon. That is the manage attachment button. See it?
