My computers been runnin fine for like 2 years when i built it. I just moved my computer to my brothers room to play gears of war, then moved it back to my room and it wouldnt start.

The CPU fan spins for 2-3 seconds then system shut's down. The Hard drive makes sound and spins as well. I have tried disconnecting everything down to Motherboard/powersupply and same thing happens. I do not have a ps currently to test anything else.

Some things I thought might be wrong.
1. Motherboard
2. ps
3. cpu fan

But Im really not sure.I was wondering why it would just do that when its been working fine for so long.

Any help/suggestions/comments is greatly appreciated.

asus m2nbp-vm csm (am2 socket)
1 gb ddr2 667 mhz / kingston (2 512 sticks)
ati raedon x800 gto

try resetting the bios (either jump the cmos or remove the battery) and try it

yea i tried that too (battery and jumper). Same thing happens.

I would double check your connections to the mainboard,make sure RAM is seated correctly.

Are you sure you have connected every thing correctly and secure?

yea it was working just fine before i moved it back. I didnt even touch the insides when moving it. Just unplugged the wires/monitor etc and then back. And it wouldnt start.

Have you double checked all connections inside your computer?
Have you checked that the front power leads are in correct order?
You need to open her up and double check everything is connected and in the right connection on the motherboard.

Have you checked the power button on the front is not sticking. Also check that the motherboard is not shorting out on the case. Sometimes you get a pin that sticks out more than the others and moving it could have made it come into contact with the case.
