Unhappy Can PC Parts be replaced

About 2 years ago i built my PC. It has inevitably started to slow down and I am now starting to get into some video editing on Premiere and also wanting t use After Effects but my computer doesn't really like it because it starts to run really slow when i try to use them. I was wondering if it is possible to just replace certain parts to make my computer "good as new" if possible.

Thanks

Yes. Especially since you said you built it. You most likely could add more ram and put in a faster CPU. Also you probably have a PCI Express slot so you could get a better graphics card. Depending on how the current specifications are now you could probably get some more life out of it. Could you possibly give us the specifications of your computer? Motherboard model Cpu etc.

RAM will probably help you a lot. If you go to the top of this page and click User CP then Edit Options and scroll down to fill in your My PC specs, also make sure you select YES for showing PC specs.

Or the make and model number of your pc or motherboard then we can suggest some suitable upgrades, also a budget
