Default Favorite Hardware-Purchase Sites (North America)

I thought we should have a thread for favorite Hardware-purchase Sites. We get many requests for where do I find this or that part.

Of course -- we all recommend our link-partners.

I will start with some favorites of mine.

Cables To Go - Computer Cables, Audio Video Cables, DVI Cables, USB Cables, PC to TV, KVMs, Cat5E, Video Splitters, and more!

Cables to go has cables for all your tech-needs. Many other things too. KVM switches/tools
Great quality /great service--- I have personally done business with them.

... and if you need it --they will even build custom cables for your connection needs. There is a chat window for any questions you may have.

Unfortunately I do not know if they ship internationally

Computer Power Supplies, ATX Power Supplies - PC Power & Cooling
PC Power & Cooling -- Rock solid Power Supply Unit's

ZipZoomfly.com Special deals - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Camera, Networking, Electronics and more
Great service for many tech items

and one note-- In the US -- we have a good reference website just for retailers online-- in fact I found some of my favorites through them--
in some cases-- you must read "between the lines"-- people with problems are much more likely to complain... than satisfied customers.
(anger motivates)

Newegg is one of our link-partner sites (see bottom of page)
...and our European friends-- have often expressed regret that Newegg doesn't do business there.
I also started a thread for them to post the good sites they know from experience.
If the idea catches on-- perhaps one for our Australian/NewZealand/Singapore friends will go up too.

TigerDirect.com - Computers, Computer Parts, Computer Accessories, PC Components, & Electronics and Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more! between the two of them theres nothing i cant find that dosnt have a good price tag, and the buyer reviews are very helpful

I would throw ebay into the mix but I know it wouldn't go over well
But I use it all the time, more than half of my PC came off ebay

Anyway, I do use Newegg when I want to be sure it's going to work, like for memory

When I clicked on to this thread from the latest posts feed, I knew you were going to mention ebay before reading the post

Ebay vendors--can be quite useful for bargain hunters-- nothing wrong with that. (see my username lol)
I am fine with buying cases-- and other basic stuff there.
Processors/ motherboards/ RAM /CPU's ?? I'd rather not--personally.
