You are a free-lanced consultant who work with individuals, big company, and small company; basically anyone who needs your expertise. Based on the case scenarios (statements) below, give advice to your customers on what is/are the problem(s) and how to rectify the problem(s).

Case Scenario #1:

"The previous tech told us we needed an expensive file and backup server. We spent a lot of money on the system, but the backups don't always work."

Case Scenario #2:

"We spent a lot of money on antivirus and spyware protection, but some of our computers still run slower than when we bought them. Eventually we have to spend money on reinstallations."

Case Scenario #3:

"It seems like the hard drives in our computers break often."

Case Scenario #4:

"The internet goes down a lot."

Case Scenario #5:

"My computer didn't boot one day and the technician said I would need a new hard drive. After he reinstalled my computer, I noticed my e-mails and many of my files were missing!"



What would be your advice to the scenarios above? I have gathered some of my info via googling. Don't know how good that is. So, guys pls help me out. Would really appreciate it.

To effectively solve any of the above problems in real life we'd need more information, for example, if a user came here to PCHF and simply posted "My harddrives keep dying, what should I do?" it would be significantly difficult to solve their problem.

I'd be more than glad to participate in your project but the case scenarios are just too vague
