Default Error. 6 Beeps. Intel

My system is made by Dell and I'm pretty sure it has an Intel motherboard.

When I power it up, I get 6 beeps. There is nothing coming on screen either.

Any ideas?

Yea it stops then. And nothing happens. The computer is running but there is no output going to any screen. I have tried multiple keyboards and screens.

It was working fine and then one day I just went to boot up and this happened.

Do you have another video card to try? It could be that but your beep code means a bad motherboard or cpu which is bad news and can happen at any time withut warning

Well I have another card. But it's too big for the case. I actually tried putting it in, realised it was too big and went back to the old one. That was a few weeks ago. But I doubt it caused a problem.
