Default Trim the paper on canon printer loading?

Hi,
I have a Plotter Canon W6200 and I load often type of paper: photographic paper, common paper, adhesive paper..
But every time I load a new roll, it cut a piece.
I see instructions but don't show the way to avoid it.
Is there a way to avoid automatic cut at loading?
Thanks

Howdy Pammachio and Welcome to PCHF,

I am not fully aware of this cutting. I will look into it a little more for you and get back soon.
It will most likely be in your printer preferences maybe the paper is being read as "to big" so it cuts it down to size.

Do you know if you have the exact size of the paper in there?

I found these but I do not know any of the languages lol.. Maybe one is Italian"?

stop auto cut on Plotter Canon W6200 - Google Search

Hi no you can't because when it loads and cuts it actually calibrates the printer so it knows how long the sheet is. So unfortunatly no you can't

P.S certified by Canon so I know and I look after a few other plotters here at work all of the brands with a roll of paper and a cutter are the same
