No floppy drive, and can't see anything on screen so kind of hard anyway.

Yes do have a spare floppy drive unconnected in my machine, and it is ati onboard graphics

Nice. What about a graphics card you can use, assuming that the motherboard is even starting up at all?

Yes motherboard is starting up. But cpu fan runs slow and one case fan doesn't run at all. I could try my graphics card. But is there any risk of that getting damaged, as I really need my PC (only working one in the house). Not sure if the PSU in there would support it.
