Hey there.

I'm building a new computer with some older components. I have 2 hard drives and 2 CD drives. Since I'm putting both of each type of drive on a single IDE cord, should I put the jumper on "cable select" or select the appropriate "Master" and "Slave"?

it doesnt matter. as long as 1 drive on each ribbon cable is set to master and one is set to slave, it wont matter. though i reccomend setting the hard drive with the OS on it as master.
