do you think thats what could be casuing the comp to crash/freeze? the mouse i have its wireless but it was a combo thing, i recently bought the new Logitech G15 keyboard which is wire so have disconnected the wireless keyboard and just use the mouse. Could it be as simple as that?
unfortunately, yes.
The manufacturers can test for most errors but not all, if there is a clash with the kit you might need to change back to ps2/usb keyboard.

right ok well iv bought a new laser mouse and got rid of the wireless unit totally so now i have my g15 wired keyboard and a wireless mous still but its not a desktop package. I wouldnt have though its my keyboard as it is usb should i put the attahcment on it and make it ps2, but then wont that effect the features on the keyboard?. Any other suggestions on what i can do?
I don't know what effect it will have on the keyboard (nice one by the way), just give it a bash and see if it does stop the problem. How many other usb devices do you have on the system? The Kbd does look lik eit needs a fair amount of power.
