my pc keeps on crashing whilts i am runnig fairly demanding aplications i was wandering if it could be the psu that i am running cant handle the gpu that i have and it is draining power from other components to power it

Sounds like that might be the case. What Wattage PSU, what motherboard, CPU, Graphics cards, and how many HDDs do you have? Welcome by the way!

all of the details are in the mp pc thing and the wattage of me psu is 730w but it squeals liek hell when i do runn demanding apps

Your dropdown says you only have a gig of ram? If that's the case, you definatly need more. I would suggest another GB should do you fine. 730 watts is quite a bit.

Wait, you said the PSU makes a sqealing sound? That either means the PSU is going bad, or the fan is failing. either way it bodes ill for you. 730 watts will DEFINETLY run what you have. If you are overloading the RAM it might do what it is doing. But lets not jump to conclusions. What sort of programs are you running when it crashes?

it mainly crashes when i play BF2 for about 10mins. i origionally thought that it was the gc overheating. i am intending on purchasing 2gb or dominator on my next pay day
