Default Question about Upgrading Notebook RAM

Hi Everyone,

I have this question about upgrading RAM in Notebook.
The notebook support dual channel. I am thinking is it best for the notebook to use a piece of 1G RAM or 1G + a 265mb. Please advice.

If you want to dual channel it, you'll need to get 2x 512Mbs for maximum performance gains, otherwise it won't be DualChannel

Dual Channel means that it takes two of the same RAM, and reads it as one nd increases the read/write speeds by splitting data across the two sticks (If I remeber correctly anyways)
