Hello rashids,

Welcome to PCHF.

Sounds like you have more than one problem here ras. Faulty power switch or loose connection between the power switch and the motherboard. Does the green led on the power button come on at all?

At which point does the freezes occur. During the initial post screen, during the Windows loading screen, during the Windows welcome page or at your desktop?

What is the asset tag number of the PC?

Sorry, was that a yes, the led does not come on at all, or yes the led is working?

You will need to open up your PC. Whilst the PC is off, make sure the cable between the front of the PC, and the main board is securely fitted.

Whilst the PC is on, there are two fans on your PC. One on the power supply and one on the CPU. Make sure these are both working.

Two more questions, has the PC ever crashed during the initial post screen? And have you ever had any error messages?
