Default [Answered] DVD movie is not projecting onto my TV

Hi

My COMPAQ laptop is connected to my TV and I am able to see my DVD movies which are being projected on both my laptop screen and my TV. I can use any of the software such as 'Real Player', Ms. Media Player', or 'DivX Player', etc.

Recently I installed Trend Micro Anti-Spyware and was quite happy with it until it kept giving me an annoying alarm (beeping loud sound) everytime I played my DVD movies on my laptop. So I un-install it completely since it was just a trial package.

Since then, I am only able to see my movies on my laptop ,but it wasn't able to project the movie onto my TV anymore! I can still see all the stuff on my monitor on my TV but not the movie itself. The movie is blank on my TV.

Can someone HELP and let me know WHAT is the PROBLEM here?
Thanks.

Regards

Hi there tech1268!
My welcome to PC Helpforum!

Can you try setting your TV as primary screen via Display settings?

Blue

A good point from Blue, make sure, if your running through an S connector, that it is secure.
These folk also know a thing or two about AV (Audio/Video) here:http://www.avforums.com/
